Jeff Chih-Hao Wang (BEcon&Fin 2024) graduated from HKU Business School, majoring in Economics and Finance.

A creative and fun individual, Jeff loves to dance and was part of both HKUMDanso and HKU Joint College Dance Team. Coupled with great leadership skills, he also served as the External Vice President of CSSAUD in 2022-23.

Jeff has also been a part of the TEDxHKU community since 2022 where he began as a member of the operations team to 2024 where he curated the TEDxHKU 2024 event.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆?

"It's okay to be normal.

When I was in uni, I joined several societies & different events where I always met people of the same age but were a lot more talented, which often was frightening. My senior then told me that while growing up, you would eventually meet people who are more superb and with different backgrounds. Its okay to be jealous and live up to them, but don't let them beat you. Being regular and keeping up with your own pace is also essential.

Since then, I have been telling the newcomers, to not be shocked by the university culture and really find your own pace in this fast-moving society.”

𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗞𝗨-𝗲𝗿𝘀?

“you will face countless obstacles but remember clearly where you are heading to, and fight for it. It's okay to struggle as long as you know you are heading toward your goal. You are doing well.”
